I’m in the middle of a great book right now: Money: Master The Game by Tony Robbins. Its chock full of vignettes, quotes, and advice…the type of book that’s taking longer to read because you’re furiously writing notes.
A few chapters in though, I stopped in my tracks when I read the following sentence, “We’re drowning in information, but starving for wisdom.”
It hit home. While I love absorbing information across many elements: articles, infographics, lists…there is something so satisfying about sinking your teeth into a book.
So, in that spirit, here are a few books I’ve recently loved:
- The Education of Millionaires, Michael Ellsberg
- Age of Context, Robert Scoble & Shel Israel
- Spin Sucks, Gini Dietrich
- The 4-Hour Work Week, Timothy Ferriss
Speaking of, if you’re really in the mood for reassesing your life and career, start with the 4-Hour Work Week. Its the perfect kick in the pants for the season change.
